Privacy Policy
Private answers need clear rules
Effective August 9, 2026
Us, Actually collects only the information needed for the experience a person chooses. It does not sell personal information, show third-party ads, or reveal paired answers before both people finish.
Data stored on a device
Names, preferences, one-phone round history, saved memories, date plans, and locally saved feedback remain in app storage unless the person exports, erases, or removes the app.
Cloud pairing and protected accounts
If a person pairs or protects an account, Us, Actually stores an account identifier, optional email and display name, couple membership, consent settings, pairing codes, synced round and date state, submitted answers, planned dates, memories, feedback, and subscription entitlement status.
Shared reveals
A paired partner cannot read current synced answers before both people finish. After reveal, both partners can see the shared round. Unpairing deletes the couple workspace and associated shared content.
Purchases and service providers
Apple processes payments. RevenueCat verifies subscription and one-time purchase access. Supabase provides account, database, and synchronization services. Apple and Expo may process a notification token when optional remote notifications are enabled. These providers process information to operate their parts of the service.
No advertising sale or tracking
Us, Actually does not sell personal information. Version 1 does not use third-party advertising, precise location, contact importing, or cross-app behavioral tracking.
Retention, deletion, and choices
Cloud data remains while an account is active. Settings lets a person export data and erase the account. Account deletion removes the cloud identity, couple workspace, synced private content, and attributable feedback, subject to short-lived backups and records required for fraud, tax, or legal compliance.
Age and optional adult content
Us, Actually is for couples and is not directed to children under 13. The optional After Bedtime pack is labeled 18+ and requires both paired users to opt in independently.
